An educational session on “Nurturing Young Children (0-5) in the Digital Age” was jointly presented by Scholastica Au, PHN, and Dawn Cooper, a passionate educator, on Saturday May 5, 2018 at Douglas Park Community Centre.  

The presentation was very informative.  It did not include only the negatives but also the positive aspects of the parent child relationship, with very practical tips and guidance.  I was able to relate to the presenters’ experience.

If there were more visuals on the brain development in terms of how it could be affected by screens, it would be powerful! ~ a participant, father of 6 children
