OUR SPEAKER:

Adam Quan is an elementary school teacher with experience teaching Grades 4, 6, and 7. He recently led a course about study skills for high school students.  This talk is geared towards parents of older elementary school students and younger high school grades.  He will provide parents with core study skill strategies applicable to the new normal and beyond:

  • Setting clear goals
  • Learning to prioritize, organize, and manage their time
  • Demonstrating self-discipline in their work
  • Learning from their mistakes
  • Practicing self-care
