Guest speakers, Scholastica Au and Dawn Cooper, will share studies, as well as both professional and personal experiences, on how to develop young children ages 0-5 physically, emotionally and socially in our digital culture

Graduated from the School of Nursing at Queen’s University, Scholastica Au has been a public health nurse in the cities of Vancouver and Richmond for 15 years.  She specializes in educating parents of children ages 0-5.  She is a mom of 3 children, ages 4 to 8.

Dawn Cooper is a trained high school teacher, and a mom of 2 children, ages 2 and 4. She graduated from UBC with a B.A. and a B.Ed. in Secondary English and Theatre Education. Through various educational pursuits and volunteer activities, Dawn has developed a passion for all things related to the excellence of teaching, the formation and education of youth, and the empowering of parents in their vocation as primary educators of the family.
